If I had to take a pick, I would choose KOTOR II as the story is longer, there's much more customisation and you have force powers which are not available in KOTOR. T3-M4 is a major character, while HK-47 is push back into the background.
Kotor 2 pc commands upgrade#
There are more force powers, some useful while others redundant, plus you get to upgrade your class, for example if you're a Consular, there's a time where you can become a Jedi Master, which allows you to have more Force Powers plus it's harder to shake them off i.e.You get full Jedi robes, not school uniforms in KOTOR.You can get up to level 50, of which nothing can stop you.Even though the game is buggy, the story is much more intriguing, where you enemies might be allies and vice versa. There is an alignment meter, where your party will question upon your appearance and looks and you can turn them into Jedi/Dark Jedi. There is more customisation, so if you have a high Repair, you can create a lightsaber that is much more powerful than in KOTOR, at the expense of no special crystals.Plus, you get more lighsaber colours such as viridian, cyan and my personal favourite, silver. It takes much longer to get your lighsaber, but when you do, you've come to a point where you earned it.The ending is satisfying, both light side and dark side. You get the Mantle of the Force and the Heart of the Guardian, both of which turn your lighsaber into something that even Darth Vader would envy. The game runs well on my ATi Mobility Radeon 9200.
